People who over 50 years old still can do climbing if their body still health. Most mountain climbers are teenagers. Beside their physics still health, they also are not too busy with some life activities.
Besides that, with climbing mountain, you can train your courage. Because beside healthy body, for climbing mountain is needed big courage to defeat mountain fields, of course different with field in lowland. The paths which some flat, some sheer, even step mountain side are many things that should be passed to reach mountain top. But, all of those are not obstacle for a mountain climber maniac.
For you who have mountain climbing hobby, by means of this activity you can pass away the stress feeling because of your daily activity so you can refresh your mind.
For climbing mountain is required many preparation, so that the climbing that we will do can run smoothly and avoid things we will not happened. So, for you who have climbing mountain hobby, preparation is very important to do.
The first, of course physically preparation. For climbing activity, your physic has to really healthy condition. If you are sick, it will be better if your climbing mountain activity is delayed or cancelled. Of course you don’t want the climbing mountain activity that you will make your condition is getting worst.
For physically preparation, it is good for you if you are often doing sport for training foot muscle when climbing. Just do light sport activities like cycling or running and for you who are not really like or do sport seldom you should do little warming up first before climbing to soften your body muscle.
The second is mentally preparation. For you who will climb mountain, you must be ready with all risks which you will find while climbing because your bile and your courageous will be test within this activity. You will discover many new things that are not common to see in your daily life. You will pass-through many paths which some ascend and some descend sharply. You also will see many kinds of new plants and new ambience nature too.
Because of need strong mental, most people who like mountain climbing are boys but for girls to have this hobby is good. In fact, nowadays, many girls are interested with adventure activities like climbing mountain.
Beside physically and mentally preparation, the mountain climber usually also prepare tools and things which should be bring by the mountain climbers are :
- Big backpack (carrier bag) : carrier bag that will be used should too small, so that all things that you’ll carry can be put into the bag. So, it doesn’t makes you in trouble.
- Sleeping bag : find a simple sleeping bag to carry.
- Changing clothes : bring enough changing clothes.
- Jacket : wear a jacket which make your body feel warm enough.
- Rain coat : put rain coat in the place where it can takes easily if rain fall happen suddenly.
- Food and drinks : bring food which can support your stomach for a long times so you do not eat many times while climbing.
- Medicine : it is very important thing to bring at one time if the accident is happened and for you who have disease that need a special drugs, you should bring your own medicine.
Climbing tools that usually bring are :
- Tent/doom : bring a tent which its size is not too big, just comfortable to take a rest.
- Survival kit : include of things are related with survival. For example matches, salt, multifunction knife, etc.
- Shoes : wear shoes which can protect your feet from weather or mountain field that sometime dangerous.
- Flashlight : check that your flashlight work well.
- Compass
So, actually mountain climbing hobby is not dangerous activity if you want to prepare anything well before do it and a good preparation of course can minimalist the accident.
